RCCF is a pooled funding initiative of the Early Childhood Funders Collaborative (ECFC), spearheaded in 2018 by five ECFC member foundations.  In 2019, RCCF announced its first set of grants to nine community organizing groups working to increase equitable access to high quality child care for families across the country.  This initial RFP received request Request for Proposals attracted applications for three times the funding available.   In 2020, RCCF welcomed the Bezos Family Foundation and the Early Educators Investment Collaborative to our national pooled fund, and with their support, awarded three additional grants to grassroots organizations in 3 states, and expanded the scope of work with three existing grantees.

In 2020, RCCF provided grassroots organizations in 12 states with resources to build capacity to be effective voices for equitable child care.  We propose to expand this number to 20 states by the end of 2021. Join Us!
