Founded in the 19th century, the Foundation seeks to improve access of all children 3-5 to access high-quality early education in both the public and private realms. In addition, the Foundation supports children 0-3 as part of its emphasis on strengthening families with young children.
Our reason for joining ECFC:
I belong to learn from our peers and to seek funding collaborations that align with equal access and opportunity for children in a pluralistic, liberal-democratic society.

Statewide in Hawaii.
What we want to engage our peers around:
Funding alternatives for early education; The best ways to create a high- quality pre-k to grade 3 connection.
Additional Areas of Interest:
Support for the historical recording and reporting of Hawaii's early education history over 200 years.
