The Rauch Foundation is a Long Island–based family foundation that invests in ideas that spark and sustain systemic change. We focus on areas where we can have greatest impact and look for organizations that take an innovative approach to early childhood development and learning. We award grants for important research and programs creating demonstrable and lasting change in the lives of families and communities. We also support work that raises awareness of the critical public policy issues that enhance outcomes for young children.
In all of our funding areas, we are interested in ideas that have the potential to create sustainable models for the Long Island region and beyond.
Our reason for joining ECFC:
We joined ECFC to meet colleagues in the ECE space and to share learning and ideas.
Where our work is focused:
Local, state, regional and national. Long Island and New York
What we want to work on with our peers:
Examples of successful, scalable programs taking place around the country; examples of successful regions that, through cross-sector, collaborative planning and investment are improving communities for families and young children.
