The Nicholson Foundation is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of vulnerable populations in New Jersey. We seek to improve the quality of health, and early childhood service delivery systems. Through partnerships with policymakers, stakeholders, and service providers, we seek to achieve transformative, sustainable systems reform.
The Nicholson Foundation was established by Marion G. and William B. Nicholson. It became active in 2002. The Foundation’s geographic focus reflects the Nicholsons’ special interest in New Jersey, where they lived for more than 60 years.
Our reason for joining ECFC:
We joined ECFC to become more connected to the national work in early childhood to enhance our grant making in New Jersey.
Where our work is focused:
Statewide. New Jersey with a focus on vulnerable populations.
What we want to work on with our peers:
- Comprehensive EC systems
- Prenatal through age 8 alignment
